Since there's no time like the present, we thought we would follow up the much praised 'Sci-Files. Volume One', with more of the same. More sublime bliss from ASC, in the form of 'Datura' & 'Earthtones'. 'Datura' takes its cue from early Basic Channel, with it's keys, and then adds layers of rich atmospherics to wash it down. A real stunning piece of music. Moving on, Track 2 sees more trademark crisp production, and an even deeper vibe than before. 'Earthtones' just oozes with style and musicality. If you thought the first volume was good... well the bar was just raised! If only we could put these out on vinyl huh? Come back 1996, we miss you!
